An opportunity to explore the meaning of life

From time to time we all struggle with questions like these...

What is my purpose in life?

What happens when I die?

Is the world out of control?

Why does God allow suffering?

Alpha is a ten week course designed for people who would like to explore the Christian faith. The Alpha Course provides a safe and non-threatening environment for people of all (or no) religious backgrounds to ask questions about God, faith and life. Along the way there are plenty of opportunities to build meaningful friendships with others.

Come join us at the Kickoff Dinner on September 9th! We encourage you to bring a neighbor, a friend, a co-worker, or a family member.

WHAT IS ALPHA?

  • It is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian Faith
  • It is relaxed, non-threatening, low-key friendly and fun
  • It is sharing a meal together at the beginning of each session, giving guests the opportunity to get to know each other.
  • It is listening, discussing, discovering and asking anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

IS ALPHA FOR ME?

Everyone is welcome at Alpha! Some people want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church, but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds and hold many different viewpoints, but most come with the same basic objective: to establish whether God and Jesus Christ have any real relevance for their lives.
