At Stonecrest, we’ve created a special service for your Elementary aged children (1st-6th grade) that is sure to get their attention.  The Great Escape meets most Sunday mornings during BOTH the 9:00 and 11:00 AM services at Central School, just a half mile away from the Stonecrest on Mt. Bethel Rd.

The Great Escape features an interactive play environment aimed at teaching Bible truths in both an educational and entertaining way.  It’s what some call “edutainment”.  Video based lessons, upbeat worship music and lots of FUN combine to make the Great Escape an exciting adventure for your children.

Chemical Reactions is an eight-week series covering the character qualities found in 2 Peter 1:5-7. This curriculum will help kids understand how to possess a godly character by hearing examples of Bible characters and by learning how to practically apply it to their daily lives. .

Lesson 1: FAITH

Kids will hear about how Christ was amazed at the Centurion’s faith and discover that their faith will grow the more they trust God.

Lesson 2: GOODNESS

Kids will learn how to have a "God heart" by learning how God was honored by King Josiah’s good decisions to follow Him.

Lesson 3: KNOWLEDGE

Kids will hear how David was victorious over Goliath. They will see that when they are scared or worried, they can know that God will be there for them.

Lesson 4: SELF-CONTROL

Kids will be taught about Noah’s self-control. They will discover how to gain self-control during frustration times.

Lesson 5: PATIENCE

Kids will hear how Joshua’s patience honored God. They will gain understanding of how to show patience to others by listening to God.

Lesson 6: SERVICE FOR GOD

Kids will study how Nehemiah’s service for God blessed him and his country. They will be taught practical ways to serve God by serving others.

Lesson 7: KINDNESS

Kids will hear about the kindness of the Good Samaritan. They will learn that by allowing God’s love to flow through them, they can show kindness to those around them.

Lesson 8: LOVE

Kids will learn about Jesus’ unconditional love for them and will discover how to love others unconditionally just like Christ loves them.
