The following are some frequently asked questions asked by first-time guests at Stonecrest.
When are your services?
We offer two Sunday service times: 9:30 and 11:00AM in our worship center located on the upper level of the church buidling. Our services are usually an hour and fifteen minutes long.
What is the dress code?
There is no formal dress code. At Stonecrest, you will see people dressed in t-shirts and jeans, to business casual attire. We want you to feel comfortable here.
Where should I park?
There is a parking lot reserved for visitors and seniors in the front of the church. As you enter the building you will be greeted and by our volunteers and they can help and direct you.
Is your building handicapped accessible?
Yes, there is a ramp from the visitors and seniors parking lot to the front door. If you take the rear entrance, enter through the 2nd set of doors and the elevator
will be on your right.
We have headsets available for anyone needing hearing assistance. Ask a service host or stop by the production booth at the rear of the worship center to get one. Also ask a service host to direct you to a special section where the sound level of music is lower than the rest of the sanctuary.
What can I expect during your worship service?
Services are different each week but will include music and singing which is contemporary (drums, electric & acoustic guitars, keyboards), multimedia, and practical messages to present the timeless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. We will also take an offering during the service which no one should feel obligated to give. Those who call Stonecrest home give as an act of worship and give joyfully back to what God has already blessed them with.
After attending one of our two services, you are cordially invited to come to a Meet and Greet gathering in our conference room. Here you find light refreshments and friendly faces to welcome you and to answer any questions you may have about your experience at Stonecrest.
Are any of your servies translated into Spanish?
Our 11:00AM service is translated in Spanish. You can pick up a headset from the Connections Booth. Ask a greeter or service host how to get there.
Is there anything offered for my kids?
KID'S SUITE (birth to Kindergarten): The KID'S SUITE, located directly across from the Worship Center on the upper level, is home to our Sunday ministry for kids from birth to Kindergarten* during both our 9:30 and 11:00AM services. Equipped with kid-sized tables, chairs, and toys, as well as sinks and toilets, the KID'S SUITE is a wonderful place for your children to learn about God. All adult teachers and childcare providers must undergo a criminal background check, in order to serve here. *our 11:00AM Kindergarten service is held in one of our lower level classrooms.
There is also a private Family Room(Crying Room) with one-way glass and sound for parents and nursing mothers where you'll still feel a part of the congregation.
GREAT ESCAPE (Elementary Grades): Our Sunday classes for Grades 1 to 5 meet during both our 9:30 and 11:00AM services on the lower level of the church building. Please stop by our Information Desk (located just outside the Great Escape room) and we will help you find the right class for your children.
