Is There More To Life Than This? The Alpha Course Starting Sept. 9

ALPHA is for anyone who wants to investigate the Christian faith in the context of the modern world in a safe and open environment. It is for people interested in meeting new friends and seeing more of what God has for your life.

GriefShare Support Group - Starting Sept. 16

If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you've never faced before. This is where a Griefshare Support Group made up of people who have walked in your shoes, can be of help to you. We will be starting our own 13 week GriefShare class starting Tuesday September 16th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Stonecrest, and we would like you to be a part of it!

Connect to God and Others this Year!

We are now forming new Spiritual Formation Circles for the coming Fall '08/Spring '09 session. These groups of 3 or 4 individuals, of the same gender, are designed to help you grow closer to God and to each other as you study God's word together.

Each individual will be provided with a workbook called 'Discipleship Essentials - A Guide to Building Your Life in Christ' to use with your Bible in working through a lesson each week. Then, you will meet with your group to discuss the week's lesson, share the burdens of your life and grow in your connection to God and the Others in your circle.

You can sign up as a group or as an individual and we will try to help you find 2 or 3 others in your area who can meet at the same time. Just click the 2nd link below and let Jeff know some options of when you could meet with others.

Many who have gone through one of these Spiritual Formation Circles in the past have said they would like to do it again, won't you join them this year?
