Level 7 Lake Champion Retreat

"CHOSEN: You belong here"

We will be traveling to Lake Champion, a Young Life camp, in Glen Spey, NY, and join several other Youth Groups from our Metro District Family.  Stonecrest Community Church is part of a larger denominational family called the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  This is part of our yearly rhythm to take part of this early spring retreat as a way to draw closer to God and to one another.

As you look at the schedule, the weekend will revolve around 4 Club sessions (1 Friday Night, 1 Saturday morning, 1 Saturday evening, and 1 Sunday morning), small group time with your youth group, personal devotions, and a whole lot of fun!

DeAndre Ralston, Lead Pastor of Hope Chapel in Pine Hill,  is going to dive into 1 Peter 2 as we explore who we are in Christ during our club sessions.  "Experiencing God" is a special interactive exhibit set-up for is open the entire weekend except for during our Club sessions.

Please pray for our students and leaders - we are sending 39 youth and 6 leaders to Lake Champion this year!  If you have any other questions, please contact Pastor Joe - [email protected].  Leader contact list will be emailed out this week.

Departure and Arrival Schedule

Departure:  Friday, March 27, be there by 4:45pm
Please arrive at Stonecrest Community Church no later than 4:45 PM, Friday, March 27, and go around back to the big parking lot. We will stop for dinner on the way up to Lake Champion, so you will need to bring some money for that, or pack something.

Pick-Up: Sunday, March 29, between 2:30-3:30pm
We will be coming home on Sunday. We'll have the kids let you know when we are one hour away, but our plan is to be back between 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. We will be stopping again for lunch on the way home, so you will need money for that as well.
