On the first Sunday each November, Pure Religion Sunday, formerly known as Orphan Sunday, inspired by James 1:27, reminds us of God's heart for orphans and widows and His call to care for those who are vulnerable. At Stonecrest, we believe that as a restorative family, we're called to join Jesus in His mission of restoration, and one of the ways we live that out is by caring for vulnerable children and families.
This looks different for different people in our church family. Some have answered the call to foster or adopt. Others are supporting foster and adoptive families, advocating for children, or simply coming alongside families who need encouragement and care. What is your next step?
