Day 2
36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.
What we notice from verse 36 is that Jesus led the Disciples away from the “crowd” to be with Him. Jesus had something important to show His followers, and He chose to do so away from the masses.
Today’s Guided Prayers:
What we notice from verse 36 is that Jesus led the Disciples away from the “crowd” to be with Him. Jesus had something important to show His followers, and He chose to do so away from the masses.
Today’s Guided Prayers:
- Welcome God to come in this time and begin by expressing gratitude, praise and worship!
- In prayer, ask the Lord who or what are the “crowds” in your life? Write down your answer.
- Ask the Lord if He’s calling you away from these crowds in order to be with Him, ‘just as He is’ and just as you are. Write down your answers.
- In this story there were other boats that went on this journey. Perhaps the Lord can reveal to you today who are the people in your life He’s asking you to partner with during this time of COVID or during the 21 Days of Prayer. If you get an answer, be bold and ask them to partner with you in prayer at this time.
- VBS Prayer Point: Theme- Jesus’ power gives us hope. Key verse is Psalm 31:24. Please pray for the leaders and parents. Pray the Lord would show up in hope for each child.
